Projects

  • Kimberley Projects

Dreadnought controls ~420 sq kms in the highly prospective West Kimberley region of WA.

The main project area, Tarraji-Yampi, is located only 85kms from the port of Derby and has been locked up as a Defence Reserve since 1978.

Tarraji-Yampi presents a rare first mover opportunity with known outcropping mineralisation and historic workings from the early 1900’s which have seen no modern exploration. In 2021, Dreadnought discovered the Orion Cu-Au massive sulphides as part of its first exploration drilling program.

Tarraji-Yampi is located within a Proterozoic orogenic belt with proven potential for Cu-Au VMS at Orion and Epithermal Cu-Au mineralisation at Grants and is located along strike of the Merlin/Double Magic and Dogleg Ni-Cu-PGE discoveries.

  • Mangaroon Projects

Mangaroon is Dreadnought’s most significant land position with ~5,000sq kms located 250kms south-east of Exmouth in the vastly underexplored Gascoyne Region of WA.

Mangaroon is an early mover opportunity with known outcropping mineralisation and historical workings by small scale prospectors and pastoralists. The Gascoyne region is a rapidly evolving critical metal province hosted within a highly prospective Proterozoic orogenic belt.

In 2022, Dreadnought delivered the Yin Rare Earth Ironstone Discovery, and in 2023 the Gifford Creek Nb-REE Carbonatite discovery. Dreadnought has also discovered high-grade Ni-Cu-PGE massive sulphides within the Money Intrusion and has delivered high-grade gold results at historical workings and identified outcropping Cu-Au-Zn-Ag gossans believed to be part of a previously unrecognized massive sulphide system.

  • The Central Yilgarn Projects

The Central Yilgarn Projects are located ~190 kms from Kalgoorlie covering ~1,400 sq kms over ~120km of strike along the majority of the Illaara, Yerilgee and Evanston greenstone belts.

These greenstone belts are located within an underexplored region of the world renowned Yilgarn Craton. Central Yilgarn presents a rare, consolidated exploration play over multiple greenstones belts with proven mineralisation potential for gold, iron ore, lithium, nickel and Cu-Zn-Ag massive sulphides.

Prior to Dreadnought, the region was held by parties looking to develop iron ore mines with limited to no modern exploration for gold and base metals since the 1990s.

Given the long history of iron ore mining in the region, the Central Yilgarn is well situated in relation to existing road and rail infrastructure connecting it to a number of export ports.

  • Bresnahan Projects

Bresnahan is located ~125km southwest of Newman in the Ashburton Basin. The project comprises ~3,700 sq kms covering over 200kms strike along the Bresnahan Basin / Wyloo Group unconformity.

Bresnahan is prospective for unconformity related heavy rare earth (“HREE”) deposits similar to Browns Range HREE, unconformity uranium and lode gold similar to Paulsen’s Au-Ag-Sb deposits along strike.

Prior to consolidation by Dreadnought, the Bresnahan Basin had only been explored for unconformity uranium with limited exploration for mesothermal gold.

Bresnahan is a first mover opportunity to explore for unconformity HREE and earlier mover opportunity for uranium and gold.
