Mangaroon Projects

Mangaroon is Dreadnought’s most significant land position with ~5,000sq kms located 250kms south-east of Exmouth in the vastly underexplored Gascoyne Region of WA.

Broadly, Mangaroon can be split into two projects, the Mangaroon Critical Metals Project in the Southeast and Mangaroon Gold and Base Metals in the Northwest.

Mangaroon is an early mover opportunity with known outcropping mineralisation and
historical workings by small scale prospectors and pastoralists. The Gascoyne region is arapidly evolving critical metal province hosted within a highly prospective Proterozoic orogenic belt.

In 2022, Dreadnought delivered the Yin Rare Earth Ironstone Discovery, and in 2023 the Gifford Creek Nb-REE Carbonatite discovery. Dreadnought has also discovered high-grade Ni-Cu-PGE massive sulphides within the Money Intrusion and has delivered high-grade gold results at historical workings and identified outcropping Cu-Au-Zn-Ag gossans believed to be part of a previously unrecognised massive sulphide system.

Mangaroon Critical Metals Project

  • Large scale project with 100% Ownership
  • Globally significant critical minerals complex with a combined, independent resource of 40.82Mt @ 1.03% TREO
  • Higher NdPr to total rare earth oxides (“NdPr:TREO”) ratio than most REE deposits and >50% higher than the global average
  • The Gifford Creek Carbonatite is considered to be the regional source of REE and is one of the largest carbonatite complexes in the world
  • Positive metallurgy results

Mangaroon Gold and Base Metals Project

  • Over 5,000km 2 of highly prospective ground located within Western Australia
  • Large scale project with 100% Ownership
  • The >45km long Money Intrusion has outcropping mineralisation along nearly it’s entire length, with first pass drilling to date only covering ~2.5 kms of strike
  • No modern exploration, with minimal historical and modern exploration due to fractured, small-scale ownership
  • Large scale modern exploration is now being undertaken for the first time under Dreadnought’s consolidated ownership
  • The Star of Mangaroon mine contains significant shallow high-grade gold intersections
  • Sub-cropping gossans highlight the potential for the region to contain a substantial VMS system with recent rock chips at the Tiger prospect
